I’ve come across this post a few times and wanted to pass it along. Not only to my daughter, Sophia and all of the other daughter’s out there, but also as reminders to ourselves. Even though these are simple rules, it’s easy to lose sight of some of them as we move through various stages of our lives. I hope you find as much joy as I did while reading through this list!
In an online survey of more than 2,000 adults across the U.S., conducted on behalf of the American Osteopathic Association in October, 31 percent of respondents said they’ve been bullied as adults, and 43 percent believe that bullying behavior has become more accepted in the past year. As upsetting as being bullied is at any given moment, what’s worse is it can have a significant impact on your physical and emotional health, leading to sleep loss, headaches, muscle pain, anxiety and depression, or frequent sick days, according to the AOA poll. Real talk: We’ve all been bullied or the target of negativity at some point in our lives. Even though I was never physically bullied growing up, I still remember how it felt to not fit and would often get teased for being short and Asian.
YAH MON! It’s the perfect phrase to describe the Jamaica! Everyone on the island is so kind and accommodating, but laid back. We decided to take a quick vacation to escape the cold and celebrate my husband’s birthday. Lately, we have been taking a lot of trips to the Caribbean because I am still a little nervous to take a long flight with Sophia (Jamaica is only a 3 hour flight from Philly).
Hi everyone! I know I am veryyy late on writing this blog post – some of my most frequently asked questions are about my wedding dresses and elopement in Santorini! Warning: this is a very “picture heavy” post, but one that I’m so excited to share! I hope y’all enjoy! <3
