My lunch date at Suburban Square!

[Sponsored post] You’d think that living in the city, I’d love taking advantage of all the shopping and markets right outside my doorstep.  The truth is, I actually get in my car and drive outside of the city to do most of my shopping!  Growing up in suburbia, I prefer shopping where the selection is generally better and the sales associates are more welcoming compared to the hustle and bustle of city shopping.

I was so excited to check out Suburban Square in Ardmore, PA.  Just a short drive outside Philadelphia, the Square has everything you need in one spot – endless shopping, delicious restaurants, a fitness center (which I am a member of!), and even a farmer’s market stocked with some of my favorite items!  Ever since Sophia’s been born, it can be challenging to find time to treat myself to something special.  I thought it would be the perfect idea to bring my hubby along and make the outing a little lunch date!

When we first arrived, I loved how the Square felt like an outdoor mall but better.  The storefronts were gorgeous, the green space was beautifully manicured, and there were tons of spots for relaxation and hanging out with friends.  I immediately jumped into the giant red chair and snapped a pic!

And so we started our lunch date with a little shopping!  We stopped at Free People and I loved the store’s rustic and boho vibe.  I am a huge fan of their jeans (I’m wearing the “busted skinny denim” above) – they’re my “go-to” and are super comfortable and affordable!

We then went to Lily Pulitzer where I was so excited to find a cute dress and colorful romper!  (See my photo below with Sophia – how amazing are those sleeves?!)  The sales associates were so kind and helpful in my search for an event I was going to that night.  My husband did equally well – although he’s a much easier shopper than me! – and found a shirt from Banana Republic.  Not a bad start to our lunch date!

My husband and I worked up quite an appetite after all of that shopping, and stopped at Bestito for some lunch.  They have yummy Mexican food with cute patio seating.  We were able to relax with a glass of wine and chow down on fajitas and tacos.  I recommend trying the guac!

Lastly, we stopped at the Ardmore Farmer’s market – they sell everything from seafood, to pastries, to my favorite cheese at Di Bruno brothers!  Take note: you must try Capricho de cabra – it’s the most delicious goat cheese!

We made our way to The Argyle, where I picked out a few succulents for our new kitchen.  My hubby also surprised me with a beautiful flower arrangement!  It was the perfect ending to our lunch date and I can’t wait to come back to the Square!
