Hi everyone! I know I am veryyy late on writing this blog post – some of my most frequently asked questions are about my wedding dresses and elopement in Santorini! Warning: this is a very “picture heavy” post, but one that I’m so excited to share! I hope y’all enjoy! <3
Part 1: My Wedding Dresses
Yes, plural! I am an extremely lucky girl to have worn TWO gorgeous Berta wedding dresses on my wedding day. Berta is my dream wedding dress designer and as soon as I found out they were having a trunk show in Philly, I booked an appointment ASAP! Their dresses are only available in 25 stores across the USA and one of those stores is right in my own neighborhood! I was immediately drawn to this designer because all of the wedding dresses are gorgeous, unique, classy and sexy all in one! Each dress is hand beaded and the price tag reflects that – a single Berta dress averages $10,000 without alterations!

Part 2: Why an Elopement?
I get asked this question a lot! It wasn’t really an elopement in the traditional sense of the word where two people run off and decide to get married Vegas style (think Britney Spears!). We had originally planned on having our wedding in Napa Valley. We made a guest list, sent out save-the-dates, started writing out itineraries, and then I suddenly froze. This wedding was manifesting into a party for other people and not something that would truly make us happy. I asked my now husband, what do you think about an elopement? He paused, looked at me and asked where? I blurted out the first thing that came to my mind – Santorini. He didn’t even think twice before he smiled and said “done”. We both knew in our hearts that eloping was the right decision for us. I could feel the stress instantly melting away.
We found an amazing Santorini wedding planner who was so patient and kind – you could tell she was the type of person who genuinely loved her job. She sent us a questionnaire to get an idea of our taste and style, and then presented 3 different options to choose from based on our responses – everything from dinnerware, to the altar, to bouquets, to photographers, to venues. She made the process so easy and painless! On our wedding day, everything was even more gorgeous in person than I could have imagined. Everything was absolutely perfect and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. I know that I am a very lucky girl to have married my soul mate in one of the most romantic places in the world, while having our little Sophia growing in my tummy and present with us the entire time. I’ll let the pictures below speak for themselves!
