Hi friends! I wanted to try something different and do a Q&A post! I asked what you’d like to know about me and compiled a list of the top questions! It’s easy to scroll through Instagram feeds and see pretty photos of everyone’s outfits and travels, but we don’t know much more about each other other than what we are limited to in a caption! It was fun answering these questions and sharing a little bit more about myself. I’d love to know if we have anything in common! 🙂Continue reading “Q&A Session – Get to Know Me!”
Hi everyone! I know I am veryyy late on writing this blog post – some of my most frequently asked questions are about my wedding dresses and elopement in Santorini! Warning: this is a very “picture heavy” post, but one that I’m so excited to share! I hope y’all enjoy! <3Continue reading “My Dream Elopement in Santorini”
Hi friends! Being petite, I always feared jumpsuits and stayed far, far away from them! I was afraid that all of the material would overwhelm my petite frame and make me appear shorter than I already am! I always thought the jumpsuit style was cute though, so recently I decided to try one on for the first time and was SHOOK. It actually didn’t look bad and even elongated my body a little bit!Continue reading “My New Love for Jumpsuits!”
Hi friends! It’s been a couple months since I had my microblade done and it’s one of the easiest and best self-care decisions I’ve made! It’s an immediate confidence boost waking up in the morning to perfectly arched eyebrows. It sounds a bit superficial as I write that, but it’s true! Eyebrows frame your face and having too thick or too thin eyebrows can really change your entire look. It’s also great for beach vacations so you’ll have great eyebrows even when swimming! Lastly and probably the biggest advantage is that microblade is a huge time saver – I love eliminating this step from my makeup routine everyday!Continue reading “Is Microblade Really Worth It?”
Hi friends, I’m so excited to share my recent vacation with you! Me and my hubby wanted to escape the northeast cold, so we booked a last-minute trip to Aruba! We decided on Aruba because of the short direct flight (~4 hours from Philadelphia) and warm weather (mid-80s). It was my first time there and it was one of the most relaxing trips I’ve taken in a while. Partly because we packed the night before (usually we are rushing around the morning of), and partly because Sophia is getting easier by the day! Continue reading “Our Beach Getaway in Aruba!”
Like most people, I love to travel! The memories, learning and experience you gain from exploring outside of your backyard are priceless! I’ve been fortunate to travel around the world and don’t want to bore you with a long laundry list of my travels, so I narrowed it down to my top 3 domestic and international destinations (with a lot of runners-up)! Continue reading “My Top Travel Picks”
Let’s face it. Life is hard! Most of us have full-time jobs and are full-time parents, on top of trying to maintain a social life and remembering to cross a million things off your to-do list. It’s often easy to put yourself last, but it’s so important to pamper ourselves a little, too! It’s something that I was reminded of when I first had daughter and finding time to myself was difficult. Remember to refresh and “fill your tank” every day – a happy spouse, co-worker, parent, and/or friend benefits everyone!
Below are ten things I do that are just for me. This list is different for everyone, but the point is that you should make a list of the things that make YOU happy and fulfilled. It may be writing a blog post, curling up to a good book, or playing video games. As my hubby always put it, “You do you, boo!”
I want to begin this post by thanking you! So many of you followed my pregnancy journey and gave me the most genuine support and advice! I’m so humbled by the amount of kindness that I received, and it really helped get me through some of the harder times during my pregnancy.
I’m going to structure this post into three sections since it is a bit lengthy and folks may want to skip around. I hope the momma’s out there can relate to my journey and those that are pregnant (or planning to be) can learn a thing or two from my experience. Feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions or want more info! The internet is an amazing tool but sometimes there’s just such a plethora of information out there that it can be overwhelming, and you may not know where to start. I’m by no means an expert, but I am always here to offer my advice or lend a listening ear.
YOU GUYS! I finally got to eat at the Tiffany’s Blue Box cafe! The restaurant has been open since November 2017 and is located on the 4th floor of the Tiffany’s flagship store in NYC. They require an online reservation a MONTH in advance and are extremely hard to get!
Yesterday my husband and I made the drive up to NYC and almost missed our reservation because his meeting with a colleague was running behind, I left my phone in a park (thankfully the person who found it was honest and gave it back!), and we got stuck in major traffic on the way to the restaurant. We finally made it to Tiffany’s – although flustered and a half hour late.
On Instagram, everyone’s life looks perfect. We see people’s best version of themselves displayed on perfectly curated little squares.
My life is perfectly imperfect. I’ve encountered and learned so much, more than some people experience in an lifetime (I’ll spare you and save some of these for a future post – haha!).
These opportunities and my trust in God have allowed me to grow as a woman and individual. I’ve become more independent, more caring, and more in charge with what I want out of life.
My life was drastically different just a few years ago. Continue reading “Heartache, Divorce and Finding Love Again”
